Being a WAFDO member comes with benefits, including access to the association's directory of members, information about current or emerging issues in food and drug/device regulatory activities, and opportunities to participate in committees and boards. Most importantly, members enjoy participation at WAFDO's annual educational conference, which includes thoughtful discussion, workshops and exhibits, and personal interaction opportunities with other professionals to exchange ideas and share information!

In addition to regional activities, WAFDO works with AFDO to draft resolutions, policies, and model legislation on a national level, ensuring that perspectives specific to the Western region are represented. WAFDO members are encouraged to also join AFDO.

WAFDO membership is valid until December 31 and is renewed in December for the upcoming year.

Associate - $50.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Member is engaged in activities, other than regulatory activities, and is interested in furthering the objectives of WAFDO.

Regulatory - $25.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Member is employed by federal, state, provincial, or municipal agency charged with enforcement of their respective food, drug, cosmetic, device, or environmental health laws, ordinances, or regulations.

Retiree - $25.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Member held an active membership in WAFDO during employment but is no longer engaged in or provides services to regulated firms or industries.

Scholastic - $25.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Member is engaged in research, teaching, or studying issues involving food, drug, cosmetics, devices, biotechnology, or environmental control.
